With quite a bit on at the moment, we haven't had a chance to celebrate (yet)
After a local campaign to secure support for better courts in the East End in 2011. In March 2012, Tower Hamlets Tennis Ltd incorporated as a not for profit organisation with a focus on improving access to tennis in East London. Last year we welcomed around 18000 people on good courts across 7 parks.
Over that time, your court revenue has provided life experience and coaching qualifications for many youngsters. It's also kept the courts in pretty good nick with solid investment in timely and specialist maintenance and provided significant lease fees to the Council.
It makes us happy to have seen such a vibrant tennis culture in grow in East London. We remain focused on enabling as many people as possible to get on court.
